With over two decades of experience in the banking industry, Izzat Habbal is a seasoned finance professional specializing in risk management, compliance, credit analysis, and operational leadership. Currently serving as a Risk Management Analyst at Pathward since December 2018, Izzat plays a pivotal role in evaluating commercial loan applications, conducting credit investigations, and enhancing third-party risk frameworks. His responsibilities also encompass ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, contributing to the organization’s robust compliance posture.

Izzat’s career journey includes significant leadership roles and positions in major financial institutions such as Arab Bank- Syria, Talmer Bank and Trust, Chemical Bank, and MetaBank, within the Risk Department and Credit Oversight, where he has honed his expertise in financial operations and risk assessment. His leadership has consistently driven operational excellence and strategic growth within the institutions he has served.

Holding a Master’s degree in Finance from Walsh College and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking from Al Ahliyya Amman University, Izzat combines academic rigor with practical experience. His passion for numbers and finance is evident in his analytical approach to reading charts and financial data, enabling informed decision-making and risk mitigation.
